Parvati Peaking Festival

Parvati Valley in Himachal Pradesh is known for its scenic beauty. And for the past three years, it has also been the site India flagship psy-trance music festival venue. In its fourth year, the festiva– Parvati Peaking – will be held from May 27 to May 30.

The nearest accessible point is Kasol, about 40km from Kullu, between Bhuntar and Manikaran. There will be musicians from 17 countries  including India, Spain, Sweden, Russia, Israel, South Africa and Greece, some of whom will be performing for the first time in India. DJs from India, Spain, Lebanon, Russia, Jordan and others will also be spinning sets.

Mangkahia Lung of Mizoram

Mangkahia Lung stone is 5 m far above the ground with skulls of mithun (An animal originated in the northeast India) imprinted on it. Mangkahia Lung was lifted in and approximately 1700 AD in the reminiscence of Mangkhaia, who was extremely famous leader of the Ralte ethnic group.

By Air

By Rail

Silchar (Assam) is the closest railway station which is at a distance of 184 km. Some trains from Guwahati to Silchar are Barak Valley Express, Cachar Express or the Tripura Passenger. Champhai is approximate 194 km from Aizawl in Mizoram, which could be travelled by road.


By Road

NH – Aizawl is well linked with all cities of country via NH-54 through Silchar. Buses and taxis are available from Silchar to Aizawl. Night facilities are obtainable too. Moreover, Aizawl could be reached via road from Shillong and Guwahati. Champhai is at a distance of 194 km from Aizawl in state of Mizoram, which can approach via road.
